The "Night of the Ghosts" is the re-enactment of the local legend of the Harmena Ghost. It takes place every year on the last Saturday of Carnival in Amfissa. Men, women and children, bell-ringers, leather-wearing and costumed in animal costumes, walk through the streets of the town, accompanying the effigy of the "Haunt" of Harmena
